Registration Procedures - Late/Walk-In Registrations

**NOTE - Please bring in waivers/IDs to registration check-in. We will no longer be accepting waivers and IDs via email.

Aloha!

We would once again like to thank everyone who has supported the Queen Liliuokalani Races held in beautiful Kailua-Kona town. As you know, we are in the final countdown until the action begins with the always fun OC4 races on Thursday.

We would like to just remind registrants, and possible registrants, of changes that have been implemented concerning registration. As many of you have seen, race decal numbers are now generated automatically when you register. What this means is a lot less time at registration for those who enter before the cut-off on Wednesday night. It also means that for those waiting to register in person on Thursday through Saturday, we have also had to change how we manage those registration.

For in-person/walk-in registrations on Thursday, Friday and Saturday:

  1.  You will be required to complete your registration online, at registration at the King Kamehameha hotel
  2.  We have limited computers and laptops available for use for these in-person registrations, so please expect delays if you choose to register late
  3.  We are also implementing a late fee for those who choose to register their crews on these days, in person. These fees have been advertised on our website and can be found by visiting https://www.qlcanoerace.com/ql-entryfees.asp  . Look for the section entitled Race Fees

Avoid the late fees and possible long lines by registering your crews before the Wednesday evening deadline. If you have registered before, simply login, select your crews and make a secure payment using credit card. If you have never registered online before, simply complete the full registration form, select your crews and pay securely online.

For all registrants, please be sure to have copies of your paddlers waivers and IDs (if entered in an age group category). We will collect waivers when you receive your race packets. If you have already sent them in via email, you might want to double check your crew/paddler waiver status online to make sure we did register it within our system. And it doesnt hurt to have copies just in case!

Please be sure to only send in one person to collect the registration packets. We ask that this be the registrant.

As some registrants have multiple registrations, we will be handing out the race packets in lines based off the Registrants Last Name. Please know this information along with your registration number(s). These are assigned for each registration and are in the format: ####-mmddyy-### .

Please be patient as we may be working out a few bugs in the system this first time round. This is all in the purpose of eventually having a much more efficient and convenient registration process.

Mahalo for your participation,

The Queen Liliuokalani Registration Crew
